Too much time on our hands....

Who would have thought balloons, bows and sewing cutting boards could bring such enjoyment but alas, they do.  So when in doubt, Dad is working late and it's the witching hour before dinner, you bust out all you can to entertain the crew.
Ryan and I played volleyball with this balloon for a toddler eternity (read 30 minutes)
When Reese woke up, we thought a fun game would be 'let's see how many bows we can fit in her hair':
hmmmmm, interesting 'do mom

Then we got out my cutting board for sewing, which has an alias of 'rocket ship' according to my girls:
Rocket Ship in its true form
And apparently 'canoe'
PS - the bows lasted most of the night and this morning (as I type actually) she woke up and brought the handful of bows over to me so I could do her hair....it's quite the fashion statement.

More swing action....

Sorry.  It never ends, does it?

Trouble in the making
'Weight' jokes are non-necessito por favor....just know I (and the tree) have survived multiple rides now
The daredevils dreams were quickly squashed

Roller Derby

I should probably file this in the "what could go wrong?" category....

Easter, continued...

The cousins....Christopher was missed.   Reese was somber and then promptly flipped the switch and shortly after these pics proceeded to greet everyone with a gigantic shriek that could easily break glass or alert the dogs four neighborhoods away.
"Go crazy" was the direction given
Reese is into bear hugs as greetings
Assorted cuteness
Go "night-night"
Biker chick

Kid tables(s)
What?
Randoms
My takeaway from Easter.....jelly beans are evil. Addictive. Evil. My downfall. I have tossed them all in the trash. And then taken the trash to the curb to prevent any awkward dumpster diving.

Easter

Started off with a little hunt on the back patio...actually, rewind, started off with what the big guy upstairs would surely approve of....breakfast at ihop with the family.   Then followed the much anticipated, 12 egg hunt on the back patio.   60 seconds later, we were done.

Notice the egg differential.....
Naturally a disagreement ensued

Enjoying the fruits of her labor
More from the fiesta at Grandma and Papa's later......
