Our little ballerina!

Sorry for the long delay in pictures; because I'm feeling guilty here's a little shot of Ryan in her newest gift from her cousins out in Denver. Thank you to the Denver Britts for her new favorite outfit! More pics to come as soon as mom and dad stop being lazy....

Birthday Fun!

We celebrated Ryan's birthday this past 4th of July.
Yayyyy America. Yayyyy Ryan.

I hate this hat and I refuse to wear it. Keep it on me and I will scream!

Ryan's very own cake. Our little 'biter' sure loves sugar.

Starting off good, keeping it nice and clean.

Open wide!

Dad is starting to get a little nervous....

And, she's off.....

Somebody was a little jealous of Ryan's blatant disregard of manners - the tan hand would be none other than cousin Jack.

What? Is there something on my face?

Ryan, Jack and Grandpa. Jack got major points for wearing the hat.

Grandma Ella came in town for the big celebration - she was a huge help to us all!!! Thank you Ella - come again soon!

Ryan and Jack - my two favorite babies (besides Grant)

Lake Time!

A few weeks ago, Grant and I took Ryan down to the lake to visit Grandma & Grandpa. If driving 2.5 hours with one baby isn't enough, why not two? We had the brilliant idea to take Ryan's cousin Jack down with us as a surprise. Armed with a new car DVD player and hours of Yo Gabba Gabba, we set off for the drive. To our delight (and my case for having more than one child), Ryan and Jack couldn't have been better. At one point, they were even holding hands. Ahhhhhh - young, forbidden love. Just like Flowers In The Attic....

Despite their fondness for each other, they are in fact just babies, and still learning the meaning of the word 'share'.

Ryan laying the ground rules for Jack out at the pool.
"This is my weekend, my parents, my pool - don't mess with me, take my floaty, or swim with my mom - got it?"
The look of trouble x 2:
I told you to keep quiet Jack! You ruin everything!
Jack beginning to learn that when Ryan is around, you need to hang on tight to your toys.

I don't know what you're talking about Ryan, there are no toys here, and they are certainly not behind my back, you best look elsewhere....
Even though I have a $1.99 beach ball, I want YOUR same exact $1.99 beach ball. But only because you want to play with it right now. If you ignore it, so will I. And that's how this weekend will go....
It's mine, and if I have to push on it and attempt to pop it, then so be it. Neither of us will play with it.
Jack in deep thought; starting to question why he agreed to this whole thing. That Ryan can be one tough ____.
Seriously Grandpa, call my dad. He'll come pick me up.
