Tuesday catch-up....

Hope everyone had a relaxing and fun Memorial Day Weekend! Here is a random smattering of photos from the last few days....

The snow cone shop is open! And oh how the ladies love their shaved ice with sprinkles on top. Even Ryan who feigned illness during dinner was remarkably cured by the time we hit Tropical Moose.
Sad about something. My memory is failing me now but I'm sure it wasn't an over dramatized, dramatic, blown-out-of-proportion event. Surely this reaction was warranted.
While we're on the subject of cars, not sure how this pose is possible but this is the result of playing with your dolls when you should have napped earlier in the day.
Reesey at peace. You don't see that often. Unless the girl is asleep.
Two big loves this season: polka dots and the neighbor's tree. Ryan is known to ask a time or two to get in the tree and have somebody take her picture. The girl does the Chandler Bing awkward smile thing every other time you ask her to sit for a picture; but this tree, she's all smiles!
Too cool for school....Ryan and Jack couldn't be bothered to sit with the rest of us at 'bagel day' so they opted to dine on their own:
What better way to send you off than with some cheeky goodness....Happy Tuesday!

Off her meds...

Have you ever wondered what a pint-sized crazy person looks like?  Wonder no more.  Enter my precious, stinkin' Reesers:

Shake your groove thang'

Not sure where Ryan learned the sass-o-frass dance moves but she was shaking her hips all over the train station. The day she comes to us asking to wear some midriff baring dance outfit and glob on the make-up, we will have her committed to the strickest of boarding schools.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend....

With love, from our little patriot:

Headbangers Ball....

You leave town for a few days and my girls go all crazy on me....

A few notes:
1. Reese is wearing Ryan's outfit. That's right, a 12 month old wearing 3T clothing b/c dad got the pre-laid out piles of clothes mixed up. No biggie on dad's part b/c he did a great job overall, both girls were still alive, happy and in one piece when I returned. I should probably be more concerned that my babe can rock a 3T outfit in the first place. Although dad's great quote when I noticed the mistake was "that explains why the pants were sooooo big"
2. Love that she takes a break from head banging to pile in the pizza crust. Probably goes hand in hand with the comment above and the 3T clothing....
3. Thanks to Ella for visiting while I was gone and to Mr. Mom for doing a fantabulous job with the ladies.

Dunkin' Donuts

Oh how we have a soft spot in our hearts (and figures) for a cup of coffee and a munchkin (or 6) - it is a special morning in the Stiff house when the whole family can kick the day off together with some yummy goodness....

Happy Birthday Papa!

The girls LOVE their papa and the Party Planning Committee is back in action for the little shindig tonight. Ryan now equates sirens with Papa's birthay. Not sure why, but it's kind of funny so we're going with it. On the way home from school Friday, we came across a tow truck with it's lights on and Ryan, matter of factly, says from the backseat "oh, they're getting ready for Papa's birthday". Then Saturday night she came into our room to sleep around 4am and shortly after she settled herself in, we could hear an ambulance off in the distance and she, suddenly alert as can be, says "is that a siren? that's for papa's birthday".

Shameless, I know...

But I cleaned out the hall closet yesterday and came across a random Budweiser bow-tie. The bow-tie was staring at me, pleading to be used as a non-age appropriate prop for a certain precious, half naked baby.
And blogger seems to have permanently eaten my previous posts, but I at least have the picture to share:

Blogger issues?

Anyone with a blogger blog experiencing some randomness the last 24 hours? I had posted once or twice yesterday (already forget) and it's no longer showing up....

Interesting....

An update, already. As I'm sure you were all on the edge of your seats in hysteria wondering where the missing posts went.

We are very sorry that users are unable to publish to Blogger right now. We have rolled back the maintenance release from last night and as a result, posts and comments from all users made after 7:37 am PDT on May 11, 2011 have been removed. Again, we apologize that this happened and our engineers are working hard to return Blogger to normal and restore your posts and comments. We will post a report once this work is complete.

Lunchables...

Yes, I will eat you alive when I get my hands on you next week:
But I don't want to starve, so I'll just have to chow down on this precious little snack in the meantime:
and this one for dessert:

Fun with water!

With all the warm weather comes some fun in the sun! Time to reintroduce the sprinkler to the ladies.
Waiting for the fun to start - I know, you probably can't see anything past those delicious rolls we call Reese's thighs. But try.
Here we go!
Well, if we're going to get wet, might as well get comfortable

Lunch special....

Who wants a yummy, warm little burrito?
I do!

Some St. Louis love......

Just because sometimes we wish we were elsewhere and the grass is always greener, a link to all that is special and unique to this fine little city of ours:
Design Sponge - St. Louis City Guide

Never would I want to waste a post without a pic - Kirkwood Farmers Market

What's mine is mine, and what's yours is also mine....

That would be Ryan. Shocker. Almost three and her favorite word is 'mine'. The one positive to this behavior, Reese is developing some mighty tough skin, more out of necessity than anything, the girl will hold her own.
Reese's blocks:
So happy to have them all to myself
Calculated moves....
How dare you!
Off you go!
If you won't leave me alone, none of us will play with them!
Just joshin' - we're friends again:)
