Granted I called my sister and asked if there were any crazy updates, babies born, fun pics and technically I can re-activate at any time, but whatever, for today I am FB free.

Good for you. I need to break the FB habit as well. I have been trying to abstain, but it's just so hard when it's right there ... just waiting ...
Worried since we don't have a post today that maybe you have gone into a facebook coma and might be in the need of some medical or technical attention!! I have followed your lead sis-in-law and have disconnected as well. Did the phone app yesterday to insure I would not go into hysteria and then just at 7:05pm deactivated and OPT'd out from the big account!

Way to go! I deactivated my account about a month ago too. I feel like a new person!
