Gettin' down with the Reesers

What does one do when they have their cousin over.....why you dance!   Duh.
*disregard the collision at the end, it's all part of the dancing art form - no small children were hurt in the making of this 'film'

Tis the season....

to freak your freak on Santa.  Yet still manage to ask him for a book for Christmas.
And we'll try to ignore the judgmental little elves (aka - camera operators) who gave me a look when I told them we are all for crying pics so when (not if) Reese lost it, feel free to click away.   I mean isn't scaring little kids sh*tless what mall Santas are all about?

Buses, dinosaurs and markers

The girls are loving having Christopher, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Bo in town for Thanksgiving.   The cousins are getting their fair share of playing in and thanks to Christopher and his affinity for all things vehicular, his toy buses have been quite the hit.
the little tush in the air kills me...
Jack has a permanent stash of dinosaurs over at Grandma and Grandpa's so when he's not looking, the others dig in...
And then some genius decided a dinosaur that squirted water would be a fun toy for kids....and yes, Reese is in yet another stage of undress.
Markers and pouty lips....I like to call Christopher 'mini Chris Martin' because gosh darn it, doesn't he look like he's about to bust out a version of 'Clocks' or 'Yellow'?

Hugs

Of many different varieties:
genuine (at least on Papa's behalf)
incestuous
painful
coerced/bribed/forced for the camera
but that pretty much sums up families anyways, right?

And, yes, we put up Grandma and Grandpa's Christmas tree for our Cleveland visitors and, yes, Reese is very fond of taking off her clothes.

Christmas Day, part 3. The last installment.

99% of our Christmas decor is down so I need to move past the day myself.  Therefore, I promise, the last round of photos.  Quite the difference this year in temps....
2010
2011
50 degrees and sunny - Santa brought some outdoor playtime as one final gift
Attempted cousin photo (Christopher was clearly downing Grant's famous Bloody Marys)....
I call these "Air Ryan"
She has good form, no?
Tiger shades and she is on the prowl...
Cuteness explosion! Christopher isn't half bad himself.
Cousins - you guessed it, best of the 2,345 attempts
Classy, take one
Classy, take two
*don't shudder, but yes, we are a jeans-on-Christmas kind of family

My little fashionista, god I wish they made that coat in my size....
And that is it folks....2011 Christmas is in the books. Bring on 2012!

He's a cute baby mom....

Ryan has a new buddy, his name is Christopher and she adores him. She ever so lovingly pats him on his stomach and says "mom, he's a cute, cute baby" over and over again. Yes, this is Ryan we are talking about. My daughter. Queen of tough. Queen of sass. Former Queen of biting. Yet when sweet little Christopher comes around she turns into the angelic pile of sweetness I adore.
As for Reese.....wish I could say the same. But legally she is not allowed within 2 yards of the kid.

Yes, I will eat you alive when I get my hands on you next week:
But I don't want to starve, so I'll just have to chow down on this precious little snack in the meantime:
and this one for dessert:

Somebody is headed home:)

He's sick and tired of the hospital and ready to head home and kick back in his new crib.

Trains

The girls love trains, love with a capital L. But they are loud. Such a dilmena when up close and personal.
And, let's just give a belated "Happy Mother's Day" to all the lucky ladies blessed with beautiful babes. Least of which is my sister and her newest little angel:
