Our love, thoughts and prayers to my sister and her hubbie Bo up in Cleveland - they are currently chillaxin in the hospital with her new BFF 'epidural' - last check was 7cm. Woo hoo!!!!!
Ryan has been repeatedly asked whether the baby will be a boy or a girl - the last few times she has responded "girl named gaga"......Hopefully only a matter of hours and we shall find out for sure! Love you BARB!

When biting backfires....

Somebody got revenge on my beloved little biter yesterday....Sad that I should probably clarify which 'biter' I'm refering to...Reese.
Perhaps she will learn her lesson as her teachers told me she did NOT enjoy that one iota. All I know was the assailant was male, apparently has four nice sized choppers up top, is a 'friend' and the two had been fighting over a toy. I've asked for dental records of all the boys in her class.
*for the record, Ryan hasn't bitten in ages, just in case you were keeping score at home (or thought I was a bad parent making light of eating flesh). She just happened to have a lovely streak going at one time and the nickname stuck.

Good Will Hunting

A little change of pace here as I jump on board the 'cost savings' bandwagon.  I recently dropped off a bag of clothes to Goodwill and, being the charitable soul I am, thought, I should at least go in and do a little shopping and see if I can't give further to the cause.  Selfless, right?  Did I need anything I ended up buying?  Of course not.  But it still is fun to get a bargain even when you know that every cent you save is still one more cent you never intended spending in the first place. My loot...a whopping grand total of $12.50

Apple plate and cute striped bowl (thinking a holiday fixture) - each $2.  Little creamer with yellow stripe - $.50.  Adorable TV tray that is currently being used as a dry erase coloring station (for Ryan) and as a seat/standing death trap (for Reese) - $4.  I love me my Love and Logic classes/books so figured this dandy can sit on a shelf for a few years at the low cost of $1  (knowing Ryan though, we may be busting this out over the summer).  And below, I liked the lamp base (shade I can live without) but the base was cute for $3.
